Cabin Fever

Today's tedium of snow was interrupted by the tedium of ice glazing trees, shrubs, branches, twigs; streets turned to skating rinks, a midday meltdown creating ponds on top of ice--all destined to refreeze by evening.   This is getting old.

  1. The weather is challenging-- but your project looks comforting and intriguing! Is it an afghan? A blanket? A rug?

  2. I would describe it as an evolving afghan. I am contemplating it as a present for a soon-to-be-married couple, but I don't know their taste really, so that's the question mark.

    Log cabin squares have long been on my mind and I was very pleased to finally try out the technique.
